Dan Magier is a solid, curious, and available partner who always strives to bring out the best in others. Open to discussion and always ready to question himself, he brought a lot to the team through his experience and convictions, especially on agility, DDD, and DevOps topics.

Dan's expertise was very useful when we needed to structure our growing development team. His past experiences are very rich, allowing him to make sharp and tailored recommendations for the project he works on, whether in terms of code, technology choices, or Agility. He particularly helped us build and industrialize our development pipeline to achieve robust and reliable processes for both development phases and releases. I have had the opportunity to work with Dan on several occasions over many years, and it has always been a pleasure. I had the opportunity to collaborate with Dan on a Master Data Management project that required Java skills. Dan knew nothing about MDM, but thanks to his strong command of Java, his desire to bring innovations, his tenacity and enthusiasm, we were able to successfully implement several features based on a development framework he had created for the occasion, enabling faster, simpler, and more reliable development.

Dan was my tech lead at Alantaya. He is a seasoned craftsman. He listens to his team and readily shares his technical expertise. His role is important in driving work forward and maintaining team cohesion through his positive attitude.

Working with Dan was a real pleasure. Beyond fascinating discussions on craftsmanship and architecture, we were able to work in perfect sync from the very first moments. He knows how to make his team members feel comfortable, is very flexible with suggestions while not hesitating to share his opinion or solution to problems encountered, all with the goal of making things go as smoothly as possible. I did not have the chance to see him as a SCRUM master, as we were a team agile enough not to need one, but I have no doubt about his ability to migrate, educate, and guide a team toward agility, better understanding, and greater productivity. Finally, I was impressed by his ability to improve workflows and propose the right tools to eliminate tasks with no added value. He is not afraid to take on daunting tasks for the good of the team, to communicate about them, and to adapt solutions to the environment at hand.
